Jeong Jin-sang, a former vice chief of staff to Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the main opposition Democratic Party, appears at the Seoul Central District Court on July 4, 2023, to attend a hearing over a bribery scandal linked to a development project launched when Lee was the mayor of Seongnam, south of Seoul.
