All COVID-19 restrictions lifted

People cross the street in Seoul on the morning of June 1, 2023, when the level of the national crisis for the new coronavirus was lowered from "serious" to "alert." The downgrade virtually lifted all quarantine regulations, including the obligatory isolation of COVID-19 patients and a mask mandate in most places, except for hospitals.
