Rally against S. Korea-U.S. alliance

Members of the Solidarity for Peace and Reunification of Korea, a Seoul-based civic group of progressive activists, stage a rally in front of the presidential office in Seoul on July 18, 2023, to express their objection to the inaugural session the same day of the newly established Nuclear Consultative Group between South Korea and the United States to strengthen the U.S.' extended deterrence commitment to defending South Korea with all of its military capabilities, including nuclear weapons.
