SEOUL, May 18 (Yonhap) -- Pop star Ariana Grande (28) tied the knot with her fiancé Dalton Gomez (26) in front of 20 people over the weekend.

 

According to Billboard and other foreign media outlets on the 17th (KST), Grande had an intimate wedding with her now-husband, Dalton Gomez, at her house in Montecito, California.

 

A representative for Grande said, "The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier."

 

Born in 1995, Gomez works in the luxury real estate business in Los Angeles.

 

U.S. entertainment media, US Weekly stated that Grande had met Gomez for the first time while looking for a new house.

 

While Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez started dating early last year, they did not officially announce their relationship for more than a year.

 

Last December, Grande personally addressed her engagement through social media. Prior to this, the songstress released an album titled "Positions," which contained her love for Gomez.

 

Ariana Grande, who began her career as a singer with her single "The Way" in 2013, is considered one of the most popular pop stars in the world.

 

Out of Grande's six studio albums released so far, five have topped the U.S. Billboard main album chart, "Billboard 200," and the singer has nearly 230 million followers on Instagram.
