Recently, a picture of a new sign became the talk of the town in Korea as soon as it was posted online last month. The controversial picture showed a simplified restroom sign at the Seoul Metropolitan Institute for Lifelong Education.
As the sign sparked heated debates, the institute said they chose the design to break away from gender stereotypes and gender discrimination.
