4 people from N. Korea express intent to defect to S. Korea: source

SEOUL, Oct. 24 (Yonhap) -- A group of four unidentified individuals from North Korea has expressed an intent to defect to South Korea, after arriving in the country through an eastern port city, a government source said Tuesday.

"I understand that four people from North Korea expressed their intent to defect in the Sokcho region," the source said, without elaborating.
