DAEJEON, May 15 (Yonhap) -- On a sunny day in May, the month with the most perfect weather, a million roses rich in color fill the landscapes of the Hanbat Arboretum, a resting place for citizens in downtown Daejeon, welcoming visitors who come and go. The blooming period came earlier than last year, and the flowers began to bloom late last month and were in full bloom this weekend.
