Chinese envoy at battery factory fire

Chinese Ambassador to South Korea Xing Haiming visits the site of a fire at a primary lithium battery factory in Hwaseong, 45 kilometers south of Seoul, on June 24, 2024. The fire, which broke out around 10:30 a.m., resulted in the deaths of 22 workers, including 18 Chinese nationals. (Yonhap)
