N. Korea's missile launch
Contrails believed to be created by a ballistic missile are observed over seas off South Korea's northwestern border island of Yeonpyeong at 5:31 a.m. on June 26, 2024. According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, North Korea test-fired the missile toward the East Sea from an area in or around Pyongyang around 5:30 a.m., but the test is believed to have ended in failure after the missile flew some 250 kilometers.
