Samsung's OLED TVs earn top ratings from Consumer Reports

SEOUL, Jan. 20 (Yonhap) -- Samsung Electronics Co.'s latest organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TVs earned top ratings in a recent U.S. consumer performance evaluation for their resolution and high dynamic range (HDR) features, industry sources said Tuesday.

Four of the South Korean tech giant's OLED TV models, including the QN65S90F, along with a quantum dot light-emitting diode (QLED) TV, were selected among the best televisions in research conducted by Consumer Reports, according to the sources.

The U.S. industry evaluator said the QN65S90F stood out for its outstanding resolution and HDR performance, which enables displays to deliver vivid images through optimized brightness.

Samsung's QN65S95F received recognition for its high brightness and built-in Dolby Atmos speaker system.

The South Korean electronics giant has been gaining recognition for its strong performance across a diverse TV lineup encompassing OLED, QLED and Micro RGB technologies.

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 held earlier this month, Samsung Electronics showcased its 130-inch Micro RGB TV, which drew positive feedback from industry watchers.
