Extradition of embezzler from Philippines

A South Korean national, only identified by his surname Choi (C, front), arrives at Incheon airport, west of Seoul, on Jan. 17, 2024, after being arrested and extradited from the Philippines. South Korean police arrested 46-year-old Choi, a former executive of the state-run National Health Insurance Service, in Manila on suspicion of having embezzled 4.6 billion won (US$3.47 million) from the service.
