Rice planting in S. Korea

Farmer Kim Kyung-yang operates a machine to plant rice seedlings in a paddy in the southeastern port city of Busan on April 14, 2023. It was the first rice planting of the year in the region. Kim expects to harvest rice around August as the planted rice is an early ripening variety. (Yonhap)
