SEOUL, Jan. 18 (Yonhap) -- Jin of the mega-hit boy group BTS has greeted fans after completing basic military training on Wednesday.

 

"I'm having fun and doing well," Jin said on fan community Weverse, along with a photo of him in a military uniform.

 

"I'm uploading this picture with permission from the military. A.R.M.Y, always be happy and take care of yourself."

 

Earlier, Jin enlisted as the first member of the BTS on the 13th of last month and joined the boot camp of the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.

 

Jin is to continue his remaining military life as teaching assistant at the 5th Division boot camp, where he completed his training, as he finally passed the assistant instructor selection during the boot camp.

 

Jin is scheduled to be discharged on June 12, 2024.
