Dmytro Ponomarenko, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Korea, revealed the photo of a check of 100 million won and Lee’s letter, which were sent to the People of Ukraine, through Twitter on Mar. 1.

The ambassador Ponomarenko said, “We are very excited and touched by the letter and the great financial contribution of Lee,” adding, “The donations will be transferred to the needs of victims of Russian invasion.”
Lee’s father is the 6.25 Korean War veteran, and his father-in-law is known to have participated in the Vietnam War.
