SEOUL, Aug. 17 (Yonhap) -- "Listening to BTS's news excites us and inspires us a lot. Although we do feel pressured sometimes, but we think that is an inevitable part," said Yeon-jun from TXT.
Tomorrow X Together, a boy band in the same management agency as the group loved worldwide, BTS, has put up its name on the global idol league.
The group's 2nd regular "FREEZE," released on May, has secured its place on Billboard's main chart "Billboard 200" for 9 consecutive weeks including its highest rank, 5th place. The album also made a success in Japan, topping Oricon Weekly Album Chart.
The group, now starting its golden era, seems to have their own concerns.
"Our biggest concern is the stereotype that we owe to our company of our achievements," said Yeon-jun during the group's online showcase for their 2nd regular album "The Chaos Chapter: Fight or Escape" Tuesday.
"We were able to grow strong and hard upon support of our company but we also are struggling with more strict standards to overcome these stereotypes. We believe, that after all these hard times, one day we will be able to prove ourselves with our music and performances. It really is hard, but we will fight this over."
The new album, depicting a boy who wants to FIGHT against the world for 'you' who has appeared in front of him like a savior but at the same time wants to run away from the reality. seems to be reflecting the group's feelings for some point,
"We think sincere story is the important part. We want to an artist who sings us, our feelings and the hearts of our peers," said Soo-bin.
The album's title song "LO$ER=LO♡ER" well represents TXT's identity from its name.
It portraits a boy's feelings, who is regarded a loser to the world's stern point of view, but a lover to 'you.' The song catches the ears of the listeners with its up-beat guitar and drums and additive melody.
The song was produced by Billy Walsh, who made songs for Justin Bieber and the Weekend, Louis Bell, who co-worked with Taylor Swift and Post Malone, and Bang Si-hyuk, chairman of Hybe Music.
Scooter Braun, who became America's chief CEO after merging Hybe's Ithaca Holdings, has also given a hand.
"We really thank CEO Braun for giving us the chance to work with these producers by introducing them to us saying that they will well match with our music," said Tae-hyun.
The guitar used in the session for the song is also a gift from the CEO to chairman Bang. It is said that the guitar was the lengendary band Rolling Stones' guitarist, Keith Richards'.
