K-pop hitmaker Shinsadong Tiger found dead: report
SEOUL, Feb. 23 (Yonhap) -- K-pop hit song maker Shinsadong Tiger, 41, was found dead on Friday, vernacular news reported.
The body of the famous music producer and songwriter was found by his acquaintance who visited his place after failing to reach him, a local news reported, citing police.
Shinsadong Tiger, a big-name fiture in the K-pop music industry, have produced many hit songs including T-ara's "Roly-Poly," Apink's "NoNoNo" and EXID's "Up & Down."
He launched his latest girl group TRI.BE in 2021. After a long hiatus, TRI.BE made a comeback with their fourth single, "Diamond," just a year ago.
The producer’s sudden death sent shockwaves to the industry and the audience, especially as TRI.BE was scheduled to make a comeback through KBS2's "Music Bank" on the same day.
