SEOUL, Aug. 24 (Yonhap) -- Singer Lee Chan-won, 3rd place winner of TV Chosun trot audition program "Mr. Trot" will meet his fans with a new song.

Lee will drop his new song (translated) "Convenience Store" at 6 p.m. on the 25th, according to the singer's management agency New Era Project Tuesday.

It is his first activity in 1 year and 3 months since his last release of "Fate in Time," an OST (Original Sound Track) for MBC series "Kkondae Intern" in May.

"Convenience Store" is a plain and traditional trot genre without any aspects of fusion and with ear-catching cheerful rhythm and brass sound.

In the teaser video released that day, Lee sang, with his melodious voice, (translated) "Comforting my lone life / our town's convenience store," in disguise of a part-timer of a convenience store, a singer and an anchor.

"It shows the Korean style of humor which describes our personal hardships that can only be explained by traditional trots," said New Era Project.

Lee will meet his fans through an exclusive live show on "Mr. Trot"'s official V-live channel at 7 p.m. on the 26th.
