SEOUL, June 20 (Yonhap) – K-pop girl group Kep1er returned to the K-pop scene with a refreshing summer song "UP!" on June 20.

Kep1er said at a media showcase held for the second mini album “DOUBLAST” in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on Monday, "This album contains refreshing charms different from “WA DA DA” in line with the summer season.”

The album includes a total of five songs, including the title song "UP!" and "LE VOYA9E," which depicts the voyage of the nine members together.

The group, which debuted through the Mnet's audition program "Girls Planet 999: The Girls Saga” last year, recorded 200,000 copies of sales in the first week with its first mini album in January and topped the music program. The music video for "WA DA DA" also exceeded 100 million views on YouTube.

Xiaoting did not hide her desire, saying, "I want to surpass 100 million views for this “UP!” music video and win the first place in a music program."

While preparing for the comeback, Kep1er also appeared in Mnet's competition program "Queendom 2."
