SEOUL, Feb. 14 (Yonhap) – “Webtoon Singer,” a music show that combines K-pop with K-webtoon, will be unveiled on the 17th.

 

TVING original "Webtoon Singer" is a music show where K-pop artists of various genres compete for performance under the theme of the webtoon's main theme and famous scenes.

 

The group SHINee's Minho, who hosts the program, said at an online production presentation on Tuesday, "It was so fresh when I heard the introduction of the meeting between K-webtoon and K-pop. I recorded it for the first time on my birthday, and I thought it was a gift-like program."

 

The artist chooses and introduces his or her favorite webtoon, selects and arranges songs that go well with it, and sets the stage.

 

Webtoon lineups travel between genres ranging from horror to romance. A total of 16 webtoons are included, such as "All of Us Are Dead," "Romance 101," "Love Revolution," "The God of High School," "HIVE" and "Lee Doo-na!"

 

Minho stressed that the colorful and beautiful stage is one of the main attractions of the program.
