SEOUL, Dec. 14 (Yonhap) --The new movie “Dog Days” (literal title) will begin shooting according to the film distribution company CJ ENM, Tuesday.

“Dog Days” has confirmed to cast Yoo hae-jin, Youn Yuh-jung, Kim Yun-jin, and Chung sung-hwa as its lead roles.

“Dog Days” is about people who connect to and comfort one another through their dogs in a veterinary clinic.

Actor Yoo, who is well known to be a dog lover, will play the role of ‘Min-sang’, owner of the animal clinic building. Youn will be Korea’s most famous architect who lives with her dog Wanda.

Kim Seo-hyung will portray a compassionate and easygoing role as ‘Jin-young’, a veterinarian who runs the animal clinic.

Kim Yun-jin and Chung Sung-hwa will work together as parents who meet their long-awaited adoptive daughter.

Lee Hyun-woo will play the guitarist who is left with his girlfriend’s dog Sting, and Tang Jun-sang will be ‘Jin-woo’ who carries on working as a part-time delivery driver.

“Dog Days” is the debut film of director Kim Deok-min who built his career as an assistant director in movies such as “Keys to the Heart” (2018).
