SEOUL November 17 (Yonhap) -- South Korean drama airing every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at JTBC “Reborn Rich” featuring actor Song Joong-ki who will act out a protagonist who gets reincarnated as a son of a very wealthy family will premiere on November 18.

When asked of the reason why actor Song Joong-ki picked the production, he addressed “I think the biggest factor that played into me choosing this production was the trust I had in the writer, the solid story like was one of the first reasons why I decided to participate in the production.”
Moreover, actor stated “The reason ‘Reborn Rich’ became much better, is because actor Lee Sung-min acted out the character Jin Yang-cheol,” adding “I think throughout the drama we managed to capture the bond and emotions between a grandfather and his grandson.”
Lee Sung-min acted out the head of the Sunyang group, Jin Yang-cheol throughout the series. Also actress Shin Hyun-been acted out the prosecutor Seo Min-young who chases after the dirty deeds of Sunyang group throughout the series.
Producer Jung Dae-yoon who directed the production addressed that the series focuses on the life of a man who has intertwined relationship with the wealthy family.
“Just by looking at the title of the drama, one might simply think it would be another romance drama featuring a son figure of a wealthy family, however ‘Rich Born’ incorporates an adventure of a reincarnated character who looks for clues and answers related to his unfair death in the present life.” addressed producer Jun Dae-yoon during the press conference of the upcoming drama series “Reborn Rich.”
“Rich Born” will feature actor Song Joong-ki who acts out the secretary Yoon Hyun-woo during the year 2000, and Jin Do-joon who lives in the year 1980, which will bring unique and entertaining aspects for viewers to look for throughout the series.
“I think the trend of the current drama is the time slip genre,” adding “The difference 'Reborn Rich' has compare to the ones being released nowadays is that 'Reborn Rich' deals with big and important historical events from 1980s up until nowadays.” addressed producer Jun Dae-yoon during the press conference.
Continuing on, producer stated “Nowadays big corporations have bigger power than the government, however back in 1980s the government sat on top of most of the conglomerates” adding “I feel like a lot people will be interested to see how things have changed throughout 30 years of time.”
The series “Reborn Rich” will premiere on November 18.
