SEOUL November 02 (Yonhap) -- National Museum of Korea will be hosting “Conversation with Curator” every Wednesday during the evening hours.

Visitors who visit the Museum on every Wednesday at 6 p.m. will be offered with information about the special exhibition “Pinnacle of Propriety: The Uigwe, Records of the State Rites of the Joseon Dynasty”

The 297 volumes on display are specifically called Oegyujanggak Uigwe, because they had been preserved at a royal library annex called Oegyujanggak on Ganghwa Island off South Korea's west coast before being taken out of the country during the 19th-century French invasion of Korea. They were returned to Korea from France on a five-year renewable lease in 2011.

Those who visit the museum at 7 p.m. will be able to enjoy paintings by Peter Paul Rubens, Diego Rodriguez de Silva and more at the special exhibition “Six Centuries of Beauty in the Habsburg Empire.”

Moreover, on November 23, visitors will be able to participate in an event related to recently organized Celadon section and engage in a conversation with the curator.
