SEOUL, Dec. 14 (Yonhap) -- Rookie girl-group Kep1er who were preparing for debut have reported confirmed cases within the team. Members Xiaoting and Mashiro were tested positive for COVID-19 infection, their management agency WakeOne·Swing Entertainment announced Tuesday.

The band initially planned to debut on December 14th but had to push back the date to January 3rd 2022 as a staff got tested positive for the infection on December 5th.

While the members and the staff have been regularly taking tests for the infection, Xiaoting and Mashiro have been tested positive.

But the two did not show any symptoms like fever or respiratory problems, the agency said.

Other members and staff were tested negative.

Currently, the agency has stopped all of the band’s schedules and is taking necessary measures.
