BTS and Big Hit Music donated 5.9 billion won over five years under 'Love Myself' campaign

SEOUL, November 29 (Yonhap)-- Group BTS and its agency Big Hit Music have donated a total of 5.9 billion won for about five years through the "LOVE MYSELF" campaign, announced the UNICEF Korea Committee on November 29. 
 
Love Myself is a campaign to protect children and adolescents around the world from violence. UNICEF Korea Committee, BTS, and Big Hit Music signed a social contribution agreement in November 2017. 
 
BTS and Big Hit Music raised some of the proceeds from campaign product sales and the "Love Yourself" album, and delivered messages of hope to teenagers around the world through various channels, including speeches at the UN General Assembly, music, concerts, interviews, and social media.
 
Moreover fans who understood the view of the campaign donated money and participated in the kind  act, developing the campaign into an international campaign. 


UNICEF Korea Committee released a video marking the campaign's fifth anniversary. 
 
BTS said, "We are happy and proud that people think about 'Love Myself,' in their daily life," and added, "I hope everyone continues with us so that more people could make positive energy in their daily life."
