SEOUL, Apr. 17 (Yonhap) -- South Korean girl group Red Velvet’s Yeri is set to star in Korea Broadcasting System’s television series “Galchae (romanized title),” which is produced specially for the upcoming National Disabled Day.

This special series will follow the story of Tae-yang (played by Yeo Hoi-hyun), a visually impaired student who comes to meet a guide dog Galchae and gets the motivation to fulfill her dream.

Yeri will suit up as Eun-seo, a high-spirited volunteer who becomes friends with Tae-yang and Galchae.

This special series will hit the small screens at 2:10 p.m. (KST) Tuesday.
