SEOUL, Mar. 22 (Yonhap) -- A quiet village in the countryside of Korea and teenagers. The new noir drama will be unveiled, featuring a setting and characters that are unlikely to match with drugs.
KT OTT(Over-the-top media service) platform seezn held an online press conference on Mar. 22 and announced that it will unveil the new original series “Juvenile Delinquency(translated)” on Mar. 25 at 6 p.m.
Actor Yoon Chan-young, who drew attention of overseas viewers through Netflix's original series "All of Us Are Dead," expressed his feelings about the series, saying, "It was fun to see how high school students would overcome the obstacles and develop under the intense theme of drugs.”
Yoon, who plays a pure and exemplary student Gong Yoon-tak, explained, "Yoon-tak is honest and naive, but he is often soft-hearted, clumsy, and foxy," adding, "The more I get to know him, the more interesting he is."
He said in terms of the difference from Cheong-san in "All of Us Are Dead," "Cheong-san's goal was to survive, but Yoon-tak's goal is to protect his family. I think it naturally makes differences between the two characters.”
Rookie actress Won Ji-an, who previously appeared in Netflix’s original series “D.P,” plays her first female lead in “Juvenile Delinquency(translated).” She plays the role of Kyung Da-jung, who discovers a field of marijuana plants while hiding in the countryside after being used as a drug mule by her parents.
