SEOUL, Jan. 25 (Yonhap) -- Mnet announed that Tae-yeon will be the MC for the second season of “Queendom,” following Lee Da-hee, on Tuesday.

"Queendom 2," which is scheduled to air in the first half of this year, is an entertainment program about girl groups competing for performance, and this season, six groups will release single albums at the same time and have a comeback battle.

"Taeyeon is a K-pop representative musician and role model for junior girl groups, and she will be able to play various roles beyond the role of program host,” said the production team.
