SEOUL, Apr. 4 (Yonhap) -- South Korean-based production house Fan Entertainment has signed a supply contract with the leading online video platform Netflix for its upcoming television series “You Did Good” (literal title).

Set in the 1950s, this forthcoming series, starring Park Bo-gum and Lee Ji-eun who is better known by her stage name IU, will follow the adventures of shrewd and rebellious Ae-soon (Lee Ji-eun) from Jeju Island and the intelligent yet naive Kwan-sik (Park Bo-gum).

The series will be based on the script written by screenwriter Lim Sang-chun, who has credits for writing a slew of mega-hit television series “Becky’s Back,” “Fight for My Way,” and “When the Camellia Blooms.” Director Kim Won-seok, who is known to have previously delivered plentiful popular television series including “Misaeng,” “Signal,” and “My Mister,” has taken the helm.

The exact premiere schedule of this rom-com, which will also be available for Netflix subscribers, is yet to be confirmed.
