LOS ANGELES, Nov. 28 (Yonhap) -- Thanks to K-pop sensation BTS, which held its first non-virtual concert in two years in LA, a restaurant in Koreatown was able to become a hit.
On Saturday (U.S. time), photos and videos of LA's "Gopchang" or "pork intestine" restaurant filled with BTS fans were posted one after another on social media.
Back in 2017, when BTS visited the U.S., member Jin had once introduced a specific gopchang restaurant as the No.1 restaurant in LA during an interview.
When BTS fans--known as ARMY--arrived in LA to watch the concert, they seemed to have remembered the superband's interview from four years ago and visited the specific restaurant.
In addition, as fans continued to pass on information about the restaurant through social media, more and more ARMYs started to visit the restaurant while staying in LA for the concert.
One video, posted on Twitter, showed fans singing along to BTS' smash-hit song "Butter," which later became viral.
