SEOUL, September 16 (Yonhap) -- The first episode of the mystery thriller drama "Blind" depicting the story of a serial killer will be aired on Friday at 10:40 p.m. through cable channel tvN. 
 
At the press conference held virtually, director Shin Yong-hwi, the producer of the drama said, " I tried to put more of the actors' emotions and sincerity into the drama."
 
Director Shin, who made genres with a dark atmosphere such as dramas "Tunnel" and "Voice 4," expressed his confidence regarding this drama, saying, "I haven't been doing only genres because I like them, but I've gotten used to it and I got good at it."
 
The drama "Blind" depicts the story of the "Joker murder case," which leaves unique marks of him on every murder scene, and the nine jurymen who participated in the Citizen Participation Trial, getting murdered one by one. 
 
The brothers, Ryu Sung-joon (played by Ok Taec-yeon), the perfectionist detective, and Rye Sung-hoon (played by Ha Suk-jin), a judge, and Jo Eun-ki (played by Jung Eun-ji), a social worker who participated as a juryman, chase the criminal. 
 
Ok Taec-yeon said, "The brothers Ryu Seung-jun and Ryu Seung-hoon feel like a mixture of water and oil because they have the exact opposite personality." He added, "Jung Eun-ji helped the integration of the brothers."
 
Ha Seok-jin said, "It is a work that reveals strong characteristics of the genre to the extent that there are going to be likes and dislikes."
 
Jung Eun-ji said, "The audience of the drama will be able to think about the good and the bad, what is justice, and many more."
