SEOUL, Jan. 31 (Yonhap) -- The official music video of “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)” of K-pop sensation BTS has scored 1.3 billion views on YouTube, the band’s agency Big Hit Music announced Tuesday.

The video, released in Nov. 2017, exceeded 1.3 billion views as of 4:01 p.m. on Tuesday; the band gathered another 100 million views only in seven months, from the 1.2 billion views they hit in June last year.

The septet now has four music videos in total that have broken 1.3 billion views; the newly added track, “MIC Drop,” garnered international attention by staying in the Billboard “Hot 100” for 10 consecutive weeks after entering the chart as No.28. In the music video, the seven-piece group shows powerful choreography both in a room full of microphones and in the outdoors with soaring flames.

The mega-hit boy band has been endlessly breaking their own personal records, and they now have a total of 39 music videos with hundreds of millions of views.
