SEOUL, December 7 (Yonhap) -- Park In-sung (Chae Jong-hyeop), an unemployed job-seeker who continuously failed to get a job, became the black sheep of the family. He found a smartphone on an isolated mountain path, and a random man (Park Sung-woong) is urgently seeking for help.

The smartphone introduces itself as Kim Sun-joo, the CEO of an international IT corporation called Silver Lining, while freely controlling the screen itself.

Kim Sun-joo explained that he became trapped inside this smartphone when he awoke and offered him one billion won in exchange for his help.

Park In-sung slaps himself, thinking he is dreaming, while looking at the talking smart phone, and repeatedly tilts his head, but promises that he will help.

This ENA drama, "Unlock My Boss," is adapted from the webtoon of the same title. It depicts the mystery of Kim Sun-joo, who got stuck inside the smart phone after being caught up in a mysterious case, and a job seeker whose life has totally changed after finding a phone.

This drama seems like a SF Fantasy at first glance.

However, Lee Cheol-ha PD, who produced the drama, emphasized this during the press conference, which was held online on Wednesday, saying, "We made this drama with stories that could happen in real life."

Park In-sung becomes the new CEO of Silver Lining, substituting Kim Sun-joo.

And Jeong Se-yeon (Seo Eun-soo), who was Kim Sun-joo's secretary for a long time, helps to solve this mystery.

Producer Lee said, "First of all, the theme that a person is inside a cell phone felt like a strong hook," and introduced that this drama is a mixture of fun, trying to find out why Kim Sun-joo was trapped inside a phone, excitement of romance between men and women, and love between family members.

He emphasized that he decided to make this a drama because he was impressed by the original webtoon's absurd comical story line, but he had to think philosophically.

Producer Lee delivered regarding this. "The original piece is completely a comedy, but Kim Hyeong-min, the screenwriter, said that he wants to express the stories of how people have to live life. "

He continued, "Jeong Dong-hwan, one of the actors in the drama, said 'cellphones that comfort and give courage to humans might be somewhat more alive than humans," and it was very impressive. "Our goal was to unfold this answer in the drama,"

The premiere episode will air on December 7 at 9 p.m.
