SEOUL, Oct. 29 (Yonhap) -- Major South Korean broadcaster KBS has prepared a concert for trot singer Lim Young-woong as a year-end special.
KBS announced Friday that it will broadcast Lim's solo concert "We're HERO, Lim Young-woong" in December, following trot legend Na Hoon-a, who dazzled the country with his charismatic performance last year, as well as this year's Chuseok, or the Korean thanksgiving holiday, performance by singer Shim Soo-bong.
The concert is designed to deliver the message that 'we are all heroes for living our daily lives in difficult times,' and will consist of featuring Lim's hit songs that have exceeded 10 million YouTube views.
"Everyone who have worked through 2021 are all heroes," Lim said ahead of holding his first solo concert. "I want to present special performances for our big and small heroes."
