SEOUL, Aug. 17 (Yonhap) -- The cast of the sitcom "High Kick!" will reunite again through South Korean TV network MBC's program "MBC Documentary Special" for the first time in 14 years.

"The reunion special for 'High Kick!' is currently under production and aims to be broadcast in the second half of the year," said MBC Documentary Special on Tuesday. However, the cast and details have not been confirmed yet.

"High Kick!," which ended in 2007, is a popular Korean sitcom that depicts the daily lives of a three-generation family household, starring Lee Soon-jae, Na Moon-hee, Park Hae-mi, Jeong Jun-ha, Jung Il-woo and Kim Hye-seong. The comedy drama, which was loved by many Koreans at the time, still remains relevant to this day as various videos regarding the sitcom are gaining high YouTube views.

The "MBC Documentary Special" program has previously gained popularity by producing special documentaries on MBC TV's representative works such as sitcom "Nonstop," drama "Coffee Prince" and "Country Diaries."
