'Stealer: The Treasure Keeper' kicks off with over 4.7 percent viewing rate

SEOUL April 13 (Yonhap) -- South Korean drama series from provider tvN, “Stealer: The Treasure Keeper” featuring actor Joo Won, has kicked off with 4 percent viewing rate.

According to Nielsen Korea the television audience measurement company on Thursday, first episode of “Stealer : The Treasure Keeper” which aired on April 12 at 10:30 p.m. exceeded over 4.7 percent of viewing rate.

The first episode of the series, showcased protagonist Skunk acted by Joo Won’s two distinctively different life style.

Throughout the series Joo Won brings laughter to its viewers by showcasing the characteristics of a person often described as life of leisure, at the same time protagonist switches his characteristic in to an antihero and provide viewers with fun and entertaining actions.

Protagonist Skunk acted out by Joo Won brings justice to those who trade treasures illegally with his highly trained fighting skills, and leaves a scene of conflict by jumping off from an extremely high building.

Protagonist has various supporters with outstanding abilities such as genius hacker Lee Chun-ja acted by Choi Hwa-jung, elite police officer Choi Min-woo acted by Lee Joo-woo, Jang Tae-in acted by Jo Han-chul, and more.

Moreover, ENA’s latest drama series “Bo-ra! Deborah” also kicked off its series on the same day as “Stealer: The Treasure Keeper” at 9 p.m.
