SEOUL, July 28 (Yonhap) -- The online video service platform, Wavve announced on Thursday that it will be releasing the original series of HBO Max, an online video service platform, for the first time in Korea in accordance with the extension of the large-scale content supply contract signed with HBO in the United States last year.

HBO Max's original series, which is newly added to Wave, includes the prequel series "House of Dragons" of "Game of Thrones" and "Peacemaker," which depicts the world after "Suicide Squad."

The HBO series currently in service like "Game of Thrones," 'West World," "Succession," and "Chernobyl" will continue to be in service.
