SEOUL, May 20 (Yonhap) -- Landmarks from all around the world has been reborn through sand sculptures.
The Haeundae Sand Festival, an eco-friendly festival based on sand, has opened today at the Haeundae Beach and the Gunam-ro area under the theme of "Travel The World Through Sand."
Although the festival will be held for four days until the 23rd, the exhibition works will be displayed until the 6th of next month.
Landmarks from around the world, including the Eiffel Tower, Opera House, Statue of Liberty, Pyramids, and Taj Mahal, are displayed through sand sculptures.
Compared to last year, four more sand sculptures have been added, resulting in a total of 15 sand sculptures.
On the first day of the festival, at 8:30 p.m., a fireworks show will also be held at Haeundae Beach for about 10 minutes.
