SEOUL, April 27 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group E’LAST will return as their best after 7 months.

E’LAST will release the third mini-album “ROAR” today at 6 p.m. through music streaming sites, according to the agency E Entertainment, Wednesday.

The group will release the new album 7 months after the single “Dark Dream,” which dropped in Sep. 2021.

Through this album, E’LAST will tell the story of becoming a living creature that gives up everything and does nothing, exhausted by sadness and pain.

The title song “Creature,” expresses a ‘werewolf’ that had to leave itself and become a monster. The group’s strong performance and music can also be seen in the track.

The album contains songs in different genres, including the track “Desire,” which expresses uncontrollable desire, and “Let Go" (translated title) which shows the feelings of being unable to let go of someone you love.

Member Wonjun participated in writing the lyrics of tracks “Let Go” and “Carve,” and member Wonhyuk took part in the lyrics of “Poison.”

In the group’s “ROAR” media showcase which was held on Apr. 27, Wonhyuk shared, “I think my role as the main vocal is bigger in the ‘Roar’ album but in the track ‘Poison,’ I did rap. I participated in the rap making of the song with more mature lyrics and my high tone.”

The 8 member group consisting of Rano, Choi In, Baekgyeul, Romin, Wonhyuk, Wonjun, and Yejun, debuted in June 2020. The group released songs based on a special universe, including “Swear” and “Tears of Chaos.”
