There, the group will attend the 2021 American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater on Nov. 21, 2021, and throw a series of live in-person concerts, titled "BTS Permission To Dance On Stage - LA" at SoFi Stadium on Nov. 27 and 28, and Dec. 1 and 2. K-pop superband BTS was seen flying off to Los Angeles on Wednesday ahead of its upcoming live in-person concerts in LA.

The members' airport fashion styles, which were last seen when BTS flew to New York to attend the Sustainable Development Goals Moment (SDG Moment) event, once again caught the attention of fans.

Member J-hope was eye-catching as he wore black clothing from head to toe while accessorizing a bright yellow scarf to give a pop of color to his outfit. In addition, member V showed off his sophisticated fashion sense by matching a beige coat with the same colored pants.

Fans also showed great interest in not only BTS' fashion items from Louis Vuitton, which BTS became house ambassadors for, but also the beverage cup member V was holding while entering the airport.

The septet will attend the 2021 American Music Awards, where they were nominated for Artist of The Year, Favorite Duo or Group and Favorite Pop Song, at the Microsoft Theater on Nov. 21, 2021.

On Nov. 23, BTS will also make an appearance on American broadcaster CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and perform one of its hit singles "Permission to Dance."

The U.S. TV appearance is in line with BTS' series of offline concerts in LA to be held at SoFi Stadium on Nov.27 and 28, and Dec. 1 and 2. BTS will meet its fans--known as ARMY--from around the world for the first time in more than two years since 2019.

On Nov. 18, nearly 500,000 high school seniors and other exam takers nationwide sat down to take the annual national college entrance test amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Several idols members, including girl group Rocket Punch's So-hee, a junior studying in the Applied Music Department at Hanlim Multi Arts High School, and ICHILLIN's Chaerin, who is currently attending Incheon Wondang High School, also took the test on Thursday.

In addition, Fromis 9's Baek Ji-heon and boy group Ciipher's Dohwan and Won also took the test.

On the other hand, K-pop idols, who have already been admitted into college or decided to focus on their idol careers, did not take the exam despite being in their senior year of high school.

South Korean actor Tang Joon-sang, who starred in the SBS drama "Racket Boys," had already been accepted into the School of Performing Arts and Media at Chung-Ang University and did not take the CSAT.

An Yu-jin, a former IZ*ONE member who is set to debut as rookie girl group IVE next month, Yuna of girl group ITZY, members Taeyoung and Seongmin of boy band Cravity, and Sunwoo from Enhypen also did not take the exam.

Meanwhile, several celebrities who took the CSAT in the past, supported this year's test takers by sending encouraging messages.

"We wish all our ARMYs, who have prepared really hard for this exam, to receive results that are worthy of your hard efforts," K-pop superband BTS said in a YouTube video that was revealed one day before the exams.

◇ Upcoming fantasy horror 'Hellbound' raises anticipation amid this week's relatively quiet movie industry

With Korean film masterpieces scheduled to be released later this year and early next year, this week's movie industry has remained quiet without major box office hits.

"Perhaps Love," starring actor Ryu Seung-ryong, is a debut feature film for actress-turned-director Jo Eun-ji. The movie, which was released on Nov. 17, garnered 42,000 viewers on the first day of its release, beating "Eternals" (34,000 viewers) in its third week of release. However, on the following day, the viewers for "Perhaps Love" decreased to 41,000 and "Eternals" reclaimed the No. 1 spot with 45,000 viewers.

The musical film "Dear Evan Hanson" and director Wes Anderson's latest film "The French Dispatch" were also released this week, but the average number of moviegoers stood at 10,000 on the first and second days of its release.

In fact, movie fans were rather focused on Netflix's upcoming six-part original series "Hellbound," which was released on Nov. 19.

"Hellbound," created by South Korean filmmaker Yeon Sang-ho of the zombie thrillers "Train to Busan" (2016) and "Peninsula" (2020), has been at the center of global attention as people are focused on whether another Netflix Korean-language original series targeting the global audience will continue the sensation created by "Squid Game" two months ago.
