SEOUL, March 18 (Yonhap) -- Actor Han So-hee, who admitted to being in a relationship with actor Ryu Jun-yeol amid rumors of a "transit romance," announced on the 18th that she would take strict measures against malicious comments.
Han So-hee's agency, 9ATO Entertainment, stated, "(Han So-hee) is going through a very difficult time mentally due to speculative posts and malicious comments written indiscriminately as a person rather than just an actor." They further warned, "Regardless of the severity of malicious content, we will strongly respond to any actions that undermine and damage the honor of the artist by the authors and distributors."
Recently, a post claiming that scenes of Ryu Jun-yeol spending time in Hawaii with Han So-hee were spotted on social media, and within a day of dating rumors circulating, they admitted to being in a relationship.
In response, netizens raised suspicions that Ryu Jun-yeol had engaged in a so-called "transit" relationship before sorting out his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Hye-ri, whom he had been dating for seven years, and Han So-hee denied the suspicion of a "transit romance" through her personal SNS, sparking controversy by posting what seemed like attacks against Hye-ri.
As malicious comments continued, Han So-hee eventually deleted all the posts on her blog account.
