SEOUL, August 8 (Yonhap) -- Boy group MONSTA X’s member I.M is leaving his agency Starship Entertainment as his exclusive contract expires.

Starship Entertainment announced on Monday that they had renewed their contracts with the remaining five members, Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, and Joohoney.

Starship Entertainment explained, "The affection for MONSTA X and MONBEBE (MONSTA X fan) is the same for all six members. So, I.M has agreed to continue the group activities."

The agency also said, “We have been having sincere conversations with I.M for a long time, but unfortunately, the exclusive contract with I.M has ended,” adding, “We sincerely thank I.M for all the hard works and sacrifices.”
