SEOUL, Jan. 25 (Yonhap) – South Korean R&B rookie singer-songwriter Sion dropped his new single “Flying Fish” on Wednesday, his agency Beautiful Noise said.
The song is a work that simultaneously contains the anxious tension of life felt by a singer who is in his 20s along with a message of consolation that he will not give up until the end.
The singer-songwriter said that he felt that “the life of flying fish, which is incessantly threatened by seagulls then by sharks and fishermen” resembles the fear and emptiness of all those in their 20s who just entered society.
Born and raised in Germany, Sion recently appeared on the final stage of Mnet’s hip-hop competition program “Show Me the Money 11.”
