SEOUL, June 12 (Yonhap) --The festival to enjoy authentic jazz of New Orleans, the home of jazz will be held in Jeonju, North Jeolla province.
Jeonju City announced on the 9th that it will be holding the "1st Jeonju Street Jazz Festival" on the streets of the Hanok Village for three days from the 17th.
This festival, with the theme of "Jazz Travel," is an opportunity to meet traditional jazz from New Orleans, and the performances by famous Korean musicians in one place.
"James Andrews & Crescent City all stars" of New Orleans and jazz diva Marlowe will be presenting the essence of jazz.
Some of Korea's best big bands including Brassonit BigBand, BMK, Lim In Gun Band and many more will be on stage.
During the event, performers also visit Nambu Market, Gaeknidan-gil, and Jeonbuk Innovation City to deliver jazz melodies.
