SEOUL. August 19 (Yonhap) -- “We have returned with amazing track to satisfy those who have been waiting for our comeback. So I hope you guys all enjoy” K-pop super star BLACKPINK announced throughout the press conference on Friday, held for their early release single “Pink Venom” from their upcoming second full length album “Born Pink.”

Early released track “Pink Venom” lays a foundation on hip hop genre of music which fully embodies charismatic characteristics of BLACKPINK. After releasing long awaited second full length album “Born Pink” in September, BLACKPINK will be going on a world tour.

“We are putting everything we have got into the world tour. We can’t wait to relive the amazing mesmerizing moments we felt from our previous world tours.” described BLACKPINK throughout the press conference for their early release track “Pink Venom.”

-- Please introduce your latest song “Pink Venom.” 

▲ “’Pink Venom’ is a Hiphop based track with impressive beats. From the sound of Korean traditional instrument Geomungo throughout the introduction to catchy hook, the track is filled with charms.” BLACKPINK’s Jisoo stated.

▲ “Ever since we debuted, we have continuously mentioned retroflection is one of our greatest charms. Phrases such as ‘Lovely Poison,’ or ‘Beautiful Poison’ would be perfect reflection of who we are. Also we wanted to create a conceptual album. I think the track ‘Pink Venom’ embodies who we are as a group.” stated Jennie throughout the press conference for BLACKPINK’s early release track “Pink Venom.”

-- BLACKPINK are loved by fans throughout the world for their powerful performances, which part did you guys focus on the most within "Pink Venom?"

▲ “When we release a new track we try to come up with dance moves relatively close to the title of the track. We not only discussed a lot with our dance crew, but also in general we did our best express ‘Pink Venom.’ We tried to come up with coordinated danced moves. As a result we found a harmonious midpoint of music and performance. BLACKPINK’s Jennie described the relationship between their dance moves and the title of the track throughout the press conference.

▲ “This year, the key dance move is related to the fangs. Dance moves for ‘Pink Venom’ will include us drawing a fang using our hands. I hope you guys have fun mimicking the dance moves.” stated Lisa of BLACKPINK throughout the press conference held their pre release track “Pink Venom.”

-- World tour which attracted 1.5 million audiences is in process of preparation.

▲ “We put a lot of thoughts into our world tour, since it has been a while. Throughout the world tour we tried to show our originality and to show brand new side of BLACKPINK. Since we are releasing out second full length album, the biggest difference will be the tracks being performed. We will see you throughout our world tour.” Jennie of BLACKPINK shared information regarding BLACKPINK’s upcoming world tour, throughout the press conference.

-- Out of all the artist BLACKPINK has the most amount of YouTube followers, is there any special tips?

▲ “It is because of our amazing fans BLINK. They have been with us since day one, and every single time we release something new, they would like our music. Because we have BLINK we are awarded with title such as artist with the most amount of YouTube subscribers.” Jennie of BLACKPINK answered throughout the press conference.

-- As a top tier girl group, what is your next goal as a girl group?

▲ “Instead of having a flamboyant goals since it has been a while since we released our first album, we want to happily enjoy our music with BLINK together.” Jisoo from BLACKPINK stated throughout the press conference.

-- Any charting expectations?

▲ “Although it would be amazing if our music does well in the chart, since we tried so hard to come up with this album, I think it would mean more if our fans and audiences enjoy listening to our music.” Rosé of BLACKPINK stated throughout the press conference for their pre release track “Pink Venom” from upcoming full length album “B orn Pink.”

-- What kind of concept and message does second full length album “Born Pink” which will be released in September encompass.

▲ “Throughout ‘Born Pink’ we wanted to showcase our core essence. We always say ‘Born To Be BLACKPINK.’ When trying out a new concept we are faced with opinions that we need to stick to our original identity. Therefore, we created this album ‘Born Pink’ which clearly show our core essence in a very cool way.” announced Jennie of BLACKPINK throughout the press conference.

▲ “We tried to put emphasis on our strength while trying out new things. After listening to the single ‘Pink Venom,’ ‘Born Pink’ will be much easier to approach. Lisa of BLACKPINK stated throughout the press conference held for their pre release single “Pink Venom.”

-- How was it like working on a solo project?

▲ “Throughout my solo career, absence of BLACKPINK’s members felt like an endless void. As a team you feel like you are working with your friends, which make everything so much more interesting and fun. Hence, our members were able to help each other our throughout our activities. Therefore I think our comeback with this time will be very fun. We worked very hard together for this album.” Rosé of BLACKPINK gave her thoughts on her solo career throughout the press conference of BLACKPINK’s early release single “Pink Venom.”

-- Any thoughts on MTV’s Video Music Award.

▲ “Most importantly we are very thrilled to be part of MTV’s Video Music Award. We are nervous but at the same time very excited. We will practice and prepare for the stage as we have been doing it for a while, to show great performance.” Lisa of BLACKPINK stated throughout the press conference.

-- Is there anything you guys would like to say to BLINK?

▲ “We recently passed our six year mark, which made us think the time flew by very quickly. We not only had so much fun and memorable moments together and learned a lot. Let’s proceed further together.” Jisoo showed her love for BLINK throughout the press conference.

▲ “We are very grateful to have such lovely fans BLINK. Because we have BLINK on our side we are able to shine. We will work hard and with BLINK on our mind.” Lisa of BLACKPINK stated throughout the press conference.
