SEOUL, Sept. 4 (Yonhap) -- The group Riize celebrated their 1st anniversary on September 4.
During a special anniversary broadcast on YouTube, TikTok, and Weverse the night before, the members expressed their gratitude to their fans, known as "Breeze."
"A lot has happened over the past year, but we are especially thankful to 'Breeze' for being by our side through every moment," they said, adding, "We hope you'll continue to be with us for a long time."
Reflecting on their debut, the members shared, "Our goal was to keep growing, and thanks to the support of so many people, we've been able to improve in every aspect."
Since their debut on September 4 last year, Riize has captured attention with their unique genre, "Emotional Pop." Their debut song "Get A Guitar," as well as tracks like "Memories," which talks about memories and beginnings, "Love 119," depicting first love, and "Boom Boom Bass," showcasing the group's distinct color, have all become hits.
Member Shotaro expressed his gratitude to his fellow members for their hard work, saying, "Thanks to everyone for running together until now." Sungchan added, "We'll be working even harder than before, so please continue to support us," while Anton asked fans to "keep watching as we continue to grow."
To mark their anniversary, Riize also released a new song, "Combo," at midnight. The track is an alternative pop rock song featuring striking vocals that immediately grab the listener's attention.
