SEOUL, Feb. 23 (Yonhap) -- South Korean rookie actor Lee Jong-won, who impressed through the MBC drama “Golden Spoon” last year, has confirmed to star in the upcoming MBC period drama “Flower Blooming at Night” (literal title), which veteran actress Lee Honey has already confirmed to take on the female lead role.
The upcoming comedy whodunit will follow a 15-year-old widow (Lee Honey) who crosses the wall at night but lives as a monk in the morning, and Park Soo-ho (Lee Jong-won), a born-to-be subordinate officer of geumwiyoung (one of the five military camps in the Joseon Dynasty).
