According to Taeyang’s agency The Black Label on Friday, “VIBE” will be the first solo track Taeyang releases in six years after his third solo album “White Night” in 2017 excluding the track “Louder” which he released in celebration of Pyeongchang Winter Olympic in 2018.

The track withholds exciting and pure innocent feelings felt by loved ones by successfully capturing the harmonizing vocals of Taeyang and Jimin. On top of the recording sessions, Jimin participated in shooting the music video.

Throughout the YouTube live, Taeyang disclosed that the idea of this collaboration came from the Executive producer Teddy, and later on addressed “When I started working with Jimin I knew it will lead us to a great outcome, therefore I was excited to see where the collaboration will take us.”

Moreover, Taeyang stated “We were very satisfied with the album cover because it turned out better than we expected” adding “It has a vibe of an old hiphop group.”
