SEOUL, August 7 (Yonhap) --Ulsan city Nam-gu announced on Wednesday that it will be holding the "2022 Ulsan Jangsaengpo Horror Festival" in the Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Zone from August 10 till August 14.
This festival was first held as an event called "Fear Experience," under the summer content of "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Cultural Tour with Whales" project in 2017.
Since then, its popularity has grown every year and has been held as an exclusive event from 2021.
Nam-gu received online applications for its participation from July 18 till July 27, and 1,200 people (200 teams) were selected out of about 20,000 people who applied.
The event is not free with a fee of 2,000 won.
This year's event will also introduce stage performances under the concept of "Jangsaengpo Horror Nightclub Concert" by adding festival elements to the existing horror experience.
CAY CREW, Brand New Girl, and many more will be performing.
The stage performance will be held for two days from 8 p.m. till 10 p.m. on August 13 and 14.
A performance with a concept of ghosts scaring citizens will also be presented.
