SEOUL, Feb. 11 (Yonhap) -- BOYNEXTDOOR will release a special song later this year to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the iconic animated series Tom and Jerry, their agency announced on Tuesday.

 

The group attended the Tom and Jerry 85th-anniversary celebration held at the Warner Bros. Japan headquarters on Feb. 10, where they officially revealed the collaboration project, according to KOZ Entertainment. 

 

Tom and Jerry, a beloved Warner Bros. animation, first aired in 1940 and remains a global favorite.

 

Currently on their Japan tour, BOYNEXTDOOR is set to perform in Miyagi, Fukuoka, and Kanagawa.
