SEOUL, Mar. 7 (Yonhap) -- "There were times when I hated music as it became work, and there were times when music and I quarreled. Music is like a close friend to me now."

Yuju (Choi Yuna), a former member of girl group GFRIEND, said at a showcase to celebrate the release of her 2nd mini album “O” on Tuesday, "I did my best to make this album without regret."

“9 Years” is a letter from current Yuju to herself in the past who was confused between student Choi Yuna and singer Yuju right before her debut.

“It was a time when there were a lot of things entangled inside of me,” she said. “If I could hug myself in the past once, I want to hug myself in that moment.”
